Final week :(

Hey,

So these are my last days in paradise... I really wanna stay longer because Maurice is so beautiful and I could need some more days at the beach and with the people here. Nevertheless I'm looking forward to see you guys again :) So to keep you updated about my flight back:

02.06., 10.20 am Mauritius --> 8.15 pm Frankfurt

We don't have internet anymore in our house so I don't know if I'm online before I leave. When I'm back I'll post some new pictures from the last days here :) So keep on checking my blog ;)

Rodrigues =)

Hello,
my last post is really a long time ago... But now there are 25 new pics from my holiday in Rodrigues (the little sister island of Mauritius). It was soooooooo wonderfull, calm, no bus noises, no construction work in front of our house and no rushing people everywhere ;) There we realized how hectic Mauritius is!!!! The people were so friendly and they helped us in any occasion. Jess and I wanted to extent our stay for a couple of day but all the flights back were full :( Nevertheless it was an amazing time!!

People sell self-made chillies on the street. All the ingredients grow in their own gardens.

Port Mathurin, the capital and city where we stayed

Pointe Cotton: Nearly everywhere we've been alone :)

On tuesday we wanted to go to Trou d'Argent, one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. You can only reach the beach by walking or in our case hiking down a mountain. We passed cows, goats, and climbed down some hills... The whole journey took about 40 minutes but it has been worth it.

this is one of the hills we climbed down, in Flip Flops!!!

The beach :)

Jess and me -> ze Germans :D

back at the bus stop we had some coconutmilk out of the coconut :) Oh btw, we waited like 1,5 hours for the bus to leave. The bus driver took a nap under a tree before we could leave :P Yeah, life is slow on Rodrigues...

The food was wow!!!! They have the best seafood ever. Fresh fish, squid, prawns and the rodriguen speciality ocotpus!! Yammi

our terasse

The next day we went to Caverne Patat (a flowstone cave) and to a turtle parc

In the turtle parc there are about 3000 turtles, babies and really old (ca 110 years old) and big ones.

They justed walked around and we could touch them :)

Jess and me went into a flowstone cave again, which was way better than the first one. We felt like the seven dwars with our helmets and a lamp in our hand :D

really old stalactite

The day after Jess and I went to Ile aux Cocos. This is a nature parc island where a lot of birds go to give birth and where their kids grow up.

It felt like being in paradise!!!!

birds everywhere

Here we wanted to go to a theater in the citadel in Port Louis which was cancelled because it rained 2 minutes.... so we went to Lambic a beer palce with about 130 different kind of beers :)

The horse race in the VIP-box, hihi. It felt like being in one of the movies :D It was sooooo cool and we won!!!!

We've been so close to the race.
