So what happened last week? Hm… Margot, Jessi and I were still alone in the house what wasn’t that bad :P We ate ice cream every day and stuff like this :D Working goes really good even the days when there is not much to do. We do a lot of art works here and probably I’ll be an art champ when I’m back home :D At this moment we have two guys who are schizophrenic, one girl who cuts herself and has psychosis, one who has dementia, one who is a bit disabled and the other ones I don’t really know. The one schizophrenic guy has a friend with who he fights a lot and so we have to get him back quite often. The other schizophrenic guy hears voices all the time and they tell them what he has to do. At these times he is really somewhere else and so he has to take some rest. Last week he also ran away from his home because of the voices and he was gone for two days!!!
This Saturday I’ve been free and so we went to the undersea walk in Grand Bay. It was really cool and so funny. With these big bubbles on your head and walking in slow motion… As you can see on the pictures we got some bread to feed the fish and there were quite lot… We laughed the whole time because we looked so funny but we couldn’t hear each other. After that we walked through Grand Bay, which is a really touristic place. You have a lot of hotels and shops there and everything is clean ;)
In the afternoon we took the bus to Trou Biche to go to Zuhayr’s (our manager from Aiesec Mauritius) birthday party. He rented a pool house near the beach. We had a lot of fun but in the end the whole house was wet and Jessi fall of the stairs and now her right leg is blue… The next day someone realized that his wallet is missing and later another guy found it, thrown away on the balcony, but empty… So there was someone who stole the money and threw the wallet away… That’s really mean and there was around 80 € inside….
The rest of the day we spent on the beach without the sun L There were clouds only but still it was hot and the water was warm J At home we got a ne house mate, Maria from Germany, with who I share my room now. It’s a bit difficult with her because she’s complaining about everything. That it’s so dirty here, that it’s smells so bad, that there are so many mosquitoes, ants, cockroaches, lizards, that she can’t eat anything here because it looks so bad, and stuff like this…. I really hope that it’ll change the next days!!!!
